We make each match based on the needs of that particular dog or set of dogs at that time, and we have new dogs every week in need of forever homes that you may be the right fit for – please be patient and reach back out to you would like to be considered for another dog. If you are not contacted after the initial interview, please understand that the decision was not a personal one.Due to the number of applications processed, you will be contacted within 48 hours only if selected for next steps.Please be as forthcoming and honest as possible during the interview! Our #1 priority is finding the right human(s) for each dog, and we can only do that if we get to know you and your current lifestyle!.A virtual home tour will be conducted at the end of the virtual interview, so at least one person should be at home.Everyone living in the home must attend the interview (including children, other relatives, and pets) because we assess the household in its entirety when considering the best fit for our dogs. If selected for next steps, our Adoption Coordinators will contact you to set up a virtual interview.MA pickups will happen at the quarantine facility or at the foster’s location. For MA adopters, per MA state law, dogs will be transported to a quarantine facility where they will stay for 48 hours and then be released upon vet approval.Please note we cannot delay pickup of the dog or delay adoptions.All primary caretakers are required to attend the orientation. You may be invited to either a virtual orientation midweek, or an in-person orientation at the Adoption events.We have fixed days per week for new adopter orientations and pick ups – due to the logistics of coordinating multiple adoptions, we ask adopters to remain flexible in their schedules regarding orientation and pick up dates.The adoption fee will only be accepted and processed at the time of actual pickup.You will be sent an adoption agreement and all relevant documentation for the dog once the pre-approval requirements have been met.We will verify you have all the necessary items prior to finalizing the adoption. We want to ensure you are set up for success right away, which is why we specify a customized supplies list and assign a professional trainer for each dog. ![]() Once you have confirmed you are able and willing to move forward, the team will send a pre-adoption letter for that specific dog that details everything you will need to prepare prior to us finalizing the adoption.
